"She will be like a tree planted by the water that sends out its roots by the stream.  It does not fear when heat comes; its leaves are always green.  It has no worries in a year of drought and never fails to bear fruit."

Jeremiah 17:8

Need some FOCUS?

Do you ever feel as if you just don’t have enough time?  God only put 24 hours in a day.  He must have thought if that was not enough time for us, we were doing too much!  Let’s face it.  In today’s world of modern conveniences, we should have more time than they did in the past.  What we have done is try to cram too much stuff into those same 24 hours.  How do we make the time to do things that are really important?  This year in FOCUS, we are going to write our own personal life plan.  Lisa Ter Keurst has a wonderful book and study guide Living Life On Purpose which will help each of us seek God’s unique plan for us.

Come join us every other Tuesday in the MUMC Parlor from 9:30-11:30 a.m. and get some peace back into your life!  Childcare is provided for $1 per child per meeting and $10 covers the cost of the book and study guide (thanks to the wonderful support of MUMC).  Scholarships are available if this is a financial burden on you.  Please contact Christi Wolverton at 886-8793 for more information or to have your name put on the FOCUS membership list.
